The FIFA World Cup Final will take place on Sunday the 11th July. Kickoff for the world cup final will be at 15:00 GMT. The Final will take place in the Soccer City Stadium (FNB Stadium), Johannesburg .Soccer City will also host the opening match of the FIFA 2010 World Cup between South Africa and Mexico. Soccer City Stadium was built in 1987 and has been upgraded to a capacity of 95,000 for the 2010 World Cup Finals . The 64 football matches for the 2010 World Cup will be played in ten stadiums. It is expected that nearly three million tickets will be sold for the 2010 world cup, a third of which will be allocated to South Africa home fans. With another third of world cup tickets being allocated to international fans and the final third to sponsors.
