Durban Details:

Durban is the third most populated city in South Africa and has the busiest port on the African continent and the ninth busiest port in the world. The city is larger than other cities in South Africa allowing for a wider spread of the population and the feeling of more space. The Greater area of Durban was first documented by the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama after his landing in 1497. Modern Durban dates from 1824 when it was first colonised by the british military. Durban is also a popular tourist destination.
